Feeding Guide
Black Gold Explore Puppy Food is fully adequate and may be fed to puppies as soon as they will nibble at solid food (usually around 3 weeks of age). Start feeding your puppy a moist mixture containing 2 parts food to 1 part warm broth or water. The amount of liquid may be gradually reduced as the puppy grows older.
Puppies and growing dogs should be fed all they will consume in 3 - 4 feedings per day until they are about 6 months old. At that time, their food allowance should be gradually adjusted. Through proper food allowance and exercise, puppies should be kept in lean muscular condition until about 1 - 1/2 years of age.
