Feeding Guide
We Recommend Feeding Your Dog/Puppy Within The Following Guidelines…. Dogs and puppies have sensitive stomachs. We recommend switching your dog’s/puppy’s food gradually over one week, mixing the food as follows: ….Day 1: 80% previous dog food, 20% Gentle Giants...Day 2: 70%-30%... Day 3: 60%-40%....Day 4: 50%-50%...Day 5: 40% -60%...Day 6: 30%-70%...Day 7: 80%-20%...Day 8: 100% Gentle Giants… We recommend that you feed your dog/puppy the same total daily amount that you have been feeding, but spread it over five or more smaller, more frequent meals each day. Elevate all food and water bowls to a height so that your dog/puppy doesn’t have to lean down, just has to tilt his/her head down to eat and drink. Feed food for 10-15 minutes, then remove food. Provide clean, fresh water at all times. No stress, exercise or riding in a vehicle for at least 1 hour before and 1 hour after each meal.
