Feeding Your Dog: Our High Performance Formula is a complete and nutritionally balanced food for all life stages, excluding the growth of large breed dogs. Serve dry or slightly moistened in a clean bowl. Use this chart as an initial guide and adjust accordingly. Feeding guide indicates the suggested total feeding amount per day. FirstMate recommends splitting this amount into two or more meals per day. Always provide fresh clean water. For pregnant females, increase feed intake beginning week 7 of gestation up to 25%. For lactating females increase feeding up to 50%, feeding a minimum of 3 times per day. Feeding requirements vary depending on breed and litter size. Monitor body condition of pregnant and lactating females and adjust feed accordingly.
Feeding amounts are guidelines. Adjust based on your dog's body condition and activity level.
